Quite simply, the hybrid newborn session is the very best of both worlds. I work exclusively with Kat Schaper Photography, who has a beautiful, full service newborn and children’s studio in Lakeway, Texas. Kat will photograph your baby with gorgeous newborn poses in her studio, and then on a separate day, she and I will photograph your entire family, right in the comfort of your home. You end up with a diverse gallery that showcases all the love and connection of your sweet new family.

What Should You Expect?
First of all, expect some major white glove service.
For Kat’s portion, you will come within 10 days postpartum to her studio in Lakeway. It has a changing area, bathroom, snack area, and even a coffee bar. You can be as involved or hands off in your session as you want to be. Some parents relax on the couch in the back room and quite literally fall asleep, while others like to take behind the scenes pictures and be right in the mix. Kat will give you a mini posed newborn session, which consists of one prop set and two baby posed sets.
For Jessica’s portion, you will have full access to her client closet for moms and siblings to select a flattering, comfortable outfit that suits your style. On the day of your session, Jessica and Kat will show up to your home and wrap baby so he or she is super comfortable. Lifestyle sessions are very laid back, and we guarantee that you will feel like a model. We know how to expertly prompt and pose you to look your absolute best. Don’t worry about having a Pinterest worthy, perfectly clean home. I promise that all we need is a good window! We work with all kinds of light.
