Growing up, I used to tell people that I was a twin. This is because as someone who was raised without siblings (mine are older, so they were out of the house when I was still young), I longed for a buddy. I was obsessed with Sister, Sister (remember that show?!) and longed for a twin of my own. Maybe thats why photographing twins always has my heart.
The Heath Twins were part of my Hybrid Newborn Sessions with Kat Schaper Photography. What is a hybrid newborn? The best of both worlds! One thing I love about photographing newborns is how peaceful and perfect they are. As a mom whose child is going off to college in less than a year, I remind parents how small of a window they have to fit in your arms so perfectly. It’s really not fair.
Baby Elizabeth and Baby Harrison were absolute angels for our session. So much so that we even managed to get this amazing swing shot of them.
The Heath Family had such a beautiful, welcoming home and two of the best dogs I’ve ever met. They were both full of love and personality, and I think they added so much to our session.
