I love holiday mini sessions. For my first year of them, I wanted to do something really special and out-of-the-box, so I rented a vintage red truck from a really sweet Lakeway family. These vintage red truck holiday mini sessions were held near my home in Austin, Texas. This was the first time I had held a full day of mini sessions, so I was a little terrified of my stamina and lasting through all 16 of them. There were a few unexpected hiccups, but overall, it went really well. I absolutely loved all of the amazing, beautiful families that I met and getting to capture some up-to-date photos of them. My friend KK was there as my assistant, too, and she was such a huge help. KK also happens to own a really cool art club for kids in the Austin area! We are frequent visitors.
We parked the truck at a beautiful, private property in Spicewood. Thankfully, the weather was absolutely perfect at high 60’s and sunny. We really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful sky.
